MERQIVIO EU RETURNS & WITHDRAWAL SCAN

Check your return policy before unclear terms become complaints or expensive legal work

The free Quick Scan checks up to 5 representative public pages. A paid report or Fix Plan then starts a separate background scan of up to 500 publicly discoverable pages for return policy, withdrawal rights, return costs, refunds, model form and the online withdrawal function.

What Merqivio checks automatically

  • Is returns/withdrawal information easy to find?
  • Is a clear withdrawal period stated and consistent across pages?
  • Is it clear who pays return costs and how refunds work?
  • Is a model withdrawal form or practical withdrawal route available?
  • Are broad no-return, unopened-only or restocking-fee clauses visible?
  • Is an online withdrawal function visible or does it require browser review?

Merqivio performs an external automated risk analysis. National implementation, exceptions and product-specific circumstances may require human or legal review.

EU LAW UPDATE · 21-08-2026

Our scanners follow current EU rules

Merqivio maintains its scan criteria as EU legislation changes. On 21 August 2026 the checks below were revalidated against the official texts.

Legal guarantee notice: from 27 September 2026

Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/1960 and Directive (EU) 2024/825 introduce harmonised legal-guarantee information from 27 September 2026. Merqivio has prepared this check but does not score it as a hard failure before that date. The GARAN label applies only where the conditions for a commercial durability guarantee are met.

EUR-Lex · Regulation (EU) 2025/1960

Why this matters

Failure to comply with applicable EU consumer, product-safety and market rules can lead to enforcement, corrective measures, sales restrictions and — depending on the rule and national enforcement — financial penalties. A Merqivio scan is an automated risk assessment, not legal advice.
