Make the DPP problem that may affect your catalogue visible
From 18 February 2027 all batteries covered by the EU Batteries Regulation must carry a QR code. LMT, EV and industrial batteries above 2 kWh also require an electronic battery passport. Digital Product Passports will then expand in phases to other product groups.
What problem do we expose?
Many webshops do not know which products contain batteries, which category actually needs a passport, where source data must come from, or whether QR, identifier, passport link and evidence resolve to the same model. This is a catalogue and data problem, not merely another webpage.
Why start now?
Product data often comes from multiple suppliers and is split across PIM, ERP, documents and webpages. Waiting until 2027 creates a rush to classify products, obtain missing manufacturer data, connect identifiers and test QR routes.
What does the EU require?
- ✓ All batteries: QR marking from 18 February 2027.
- ✓ LMT, EV and industrial batteries above 2 kWh: electronic battery passport from that date.
- ✓ Passport data must be accurate, current, structured, machine-readable and interoperable without vendor lock-in.
- ✓ Annex XIII separates public from restricted-access information.
- ✓ Other DPP groups follow through product-specific ESPR rules; not everything is automatically mandatory in February 2027.

Why Merqivio costs less
